I bought this coat last year. I live in Northern Ontario and it’s currently -40 with the windchill at night. It kept me warm and I love that it’s actually flattering but the hood is insufficient. It’s way too small so it doesn’t block wind as well from your face. I had to switch back to my very old Aritzia coat after spending a decent amount of money on this which sucks. It’s okay for the -15 + days when it’s not snowing or the wind isn’t frigid but I hoped for better. I know the small space helmet hoods came into style with the superpuff and large, lofty ones fell out but that’s not really the point of a winter parka. If this had an actual parka-like hood with a faux fur rim (detachable even) it would be a perfect coat. It fits true to size. I’m 5’6, 110 lbs 32”/25”/34” and XS fits perfectly with room for movement wearing a baselayer and falls just above the knee at the front. It’s a bit snug in the arms with a thick sweater but still doable.
