I have this shirt in Hematite and Mountain Peak. They are both made of soft, light material that wears well under sweaters/vests and on their own for walking/hiking. As a side note, the Mountain Peak is not opaque, so an undergarment may be visible if it does not match your skin tone. Additionally, I purchased size large because I expected a snug fit, but I could have gotten a medium for a closer (but not too tight) fit. This is not a complaint, though, as I love the fit and feel of the shirt. It is something I can wear all year, and it washes well.
